Job Vacancy: The School of Film and Television at Solent University Southampton is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in film production who specializes in cinematography.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working across a range of modules, and have experience of teaching cinematography and other film-related subjects. You will have knowledge of current film practices and technologies relating to cinematography. You will contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate courses participating in module design, assessment practices and related administrative duties. You will be able to work independently and collegially to support the learning and teaching experience of our students. As a member of the Film and TV School you will also support plans to deliver impactful research and knowledge exchange through your creative practice work and outputs.

We are ideally looking for a candidate with a doctoral degree (or near completion) or equivalent industry experience.

The successful candidate will be expected to take up the position from Sept 1st 2022.
