Australian PM Anthony Albanese and PM Narendra Modi are participating in the first India-Australia Annual Summit held at Hyderabad House in Delhi. In a joint press briefing , PM Modi raised the issue of attacks on temples in Australia.
He said that, "I have seen reports of attacks on temples in Australia." I have informed about the attacks to PM Albanese, and he has assured me that the safety and well-being of the Indian community in Australia is a priority for him.
Economic agreement possible between the two countries
PM Modi said that our teams are working on an economic agreement between the two countries. On the other hand, Australia PM said that today, we both have agreed to complete the economic agreement as soon as possible. I hope we will finalize it by the end of the year.
