The report said that on a year-on-year basis, total hiring in the IT sector is 19 per cent lower than the peak period in January 2023. Hiring in the healthcare sector increased by 7 per cent (year-on-year) in January, with administrative roles driving the maximum increase in demand.
New job offers in FMCG saw a growth of 5 per cent in January this year compared to the same month in 2023.
