UPI For NRI: Overseas Indians will do UPI with an international mobile number! NRI will get this facility soon

UPI: Apart from online transactions, in the last few years, the trend of UPI (UPI) and Google Pay (G Pay) has increased rapidly. Yes, soon the Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) of 10 countries will get the facility to send money through UPI.

The facility will be available in these 10 countries

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has said to provide the facility of transferring money through UPI from NRE / NRO accounts of 10 countries including America, Canada, United Arab Emirates. In a circular issued by NPCI, it was said that requests have been received for allowing overseas Indians to use international mobile numbers for transactions through UPI.

Time to make the system till 30 April

In view of this, NPCI has asked the UPI service providers to make the system by 30 April. Such NIIs having NRE/NRO accounts will be able to transfer amount through UPI from International Mobile Number. Initially this service will be available for expatriates from 10 countries Singapore, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Oman, Qatar, USA, Saudi Arabia, UAE and UK.
