ED arrests TMC youth leader in teacher recruitment scam, many documents, and diaries seized in a search

Kolkata: The teacher recruitment scam in Kolkata has been in the news in the past. Now in this matter, the ED has clamped down on the TMC leader. According to information, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Trinamool Congress (TMC) youth leader Kuntal Ghosh on Saturday in connection with his alleged involvement in the teacher recruitment scam. A senior officer gave information about this.

He said that ED officials in Kolkata first detained and then arrested Ghosh on Saturday morning after an overnight search at his Chinar Park apartment. "We arrested Kuntal Ghosh this morning for not cooperating with the authorities probing his involvement in illegal appointments made under the teacher recruitment scam," the official told PTI. We will present them in a city court today itself."

Several documents and diaries were also seized from two flats of Ghosh during the search operation launched by the ED on Friday morning, he said. Ghosh has also been summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation officials for his alleged role in the same scam.
