International Day for Biological Diversity was celebrated in Lucknow University

On the occasion of International Day for Biological Diversity, a two days E-Symposium was organized by ENVIS-RP, IWS, University of Lucknow in collaboration with UP State Biodiversity Board

The theme of the E Symposium was "We are the part of solution."

Dr Manoj Partereiya Scientist G and Advisor, Scientific and Engineering Cell, DST, Government of India, New Delhi was the Chief Guest of the Programme and prof. Monisha Bannerji, Dean Research, University of Lucknow, was the Special Guest.

The keynote address was given by Shri Ashubodh Pant from UPsbb on the topic " Access benefit Sharing of Biodiversity" .

Two guests from Indonesia and Pakistan spoke on the biodiversity conservation.

On this occasion the event coordinators released an abstract book, "People Biodiversity Register Module" .
