Rakhi Making Competition organized at Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University

Lucknow: With the festival of Raksha Bandhan round the corner, students of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University, actively participated in a Rakhi-making competition organized by the Cultural Club on 25th August 2023. Almost 40 Students, from different departments of the University, wholeheartedly participated in the event and showcased their skills by making a ‘thread of affection and protection’. Earbuds, matchsticks, colored ribbons, and card paper were popular materials used by the students to prepare beautifully designed rakhis.

The highlight of the program was a sale cum exhibition organized at the end of the competition -in which most of the rakhis made by the students were fervently bought by the faculty members of the University. Prof. Sauban Sayeed, Prof. Ehtesham Ahmad, Dr. Neeraj Shukla bought Rakhis from the students and heartily congratulated them for their hard work. Dr. Doa Naqvi (In charge, Cultural Club) appreciated the overwhelming participation of the students and extended a warm note of thanks to all faculty members and judges- Dr. Tatheer Fatma, Dr. Manish Kumar & Dr. Zaibun Nisa for their support.
