The students and teachers of University of Lucknow have organized a two day program on 8th and 9th May 2021 to give an opportunity to all the Undergraduate and Postgraduate students to showcase their talents and reduce the stress in the existing environment . At the time when social media is flooded with news that pulls one down it is an event which distracts the mind away from gloom and misery.

The Chief Guest of the program was Prof Rakesh Chandra, Dean Academics and Director Sanskritiki . Dean Sudent Welfare Prof. Poonam Tandon, Prof. Amita Kanaujia, Prof. Manuka Khanna, Dr. Raghvendra Singh , Dr. Shikha Chauhan, Dr. Amit Kushwaha also participated in the special celebration of Mothers Day along with the students.

In the Mother's Day special program students presented home made gifts to their mothers as a token of their love . The mothers of some students joined the program also. This was followed by the students presenting the speeches of eminent persons like Swami Vivekanand, Shri Jawaharlal Nehri, Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee iin the Declamation contest. The winners were First Prize Anjali Singh Second Prize Mohd Baqir Third Prize Anand Mishra

The next session gave the PG students a platform to recite their poetic creations. The event had poems recited in English Hindi as well as one in Persian by an international student belonging to Afghanistan. The winners in this round were : First prize Anupriya Second Prize Huma Khan Third Prize Satyam Singh

The jury for the two events consisted of Dr. Ramesh Kumar Gohe ,Department of Hindi, Guru GhasiRam University Bilaspur, Dr. Hariom Singh, Department of English,BBAU and Dr. Ram Babu , Department of Political Science,Guru GhasiRam University, Bilaspur

The third event of the day was an Antakshari competition between the teams of BA & BAHons and MA , where the choice of songs and enthusiasm of the students enlivened the atmosphere. The PG team was the winner of Antakshari. The judges for the event were Dr. Shambhavi Mishra from Department of Statistics and Dr. Garima Singh from Department of Social Work, University of Lucknow .
