Nude photoshoot case: Ranveer Singh tells Mumbai Police that "someone altered, manipulated my photo."

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who recently caused controversy for posing naked for a magazine photoshoot, has informed Mumbai Police that one of the images of him has been altered and morphed, according to a statement.

Last month, Ranveer gave a statement to the Mumbai Police regarding a FIR that had been filed against him in connection with a nude photo session.

According to information obtained from Mumbai Police, the actor claimed in his statement that one of his images had been altered and modified.

Ranveer had the FIR filed against him on July 26 as a result of a report sent to the Chembur Police Station. According to reports, the lawsuit was brought about as a result of an NGO official's accusation that the actor had offended women's feelings with his nude images.

The "Padmaavat" star had his testimony taken on August 29 at the Chembur Police station in Mumbai.

The FIR was filed by the Mumbai Police under a number of sections of the Indian Penal Code, including sections 292 (sale of obscene books, etc.), 293 (sale of obscene objects to young people), 509 (word, gesture, or act intended to insult an oman's modesty), and provisions of the Information Technology Act.

On July 21, photographs from Ranveer's contentious photo shoot were published online. In such pictures, Ranveer is seen with no clothing on. He was seen reclining on a rug naked in one of the pictures, emulating Burt Reynolds' well-known look.

In the meantime, Ranveer recently appeared in the Netflix interactive special "Ranveer versus Wild with Bear Grylls," which was well-received by internet users all around the world. In terms of movies, he will soon be seen in Rohit Shetty's upcoming "Cirkus," a movie directed by and starring Jacqueline Fernandes and Pooja Hegde. The movie is expected to be released around Christmas 2022.

With Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan, Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is another film that Ranveer has. The movie is scheduled to premiere on February 11, 2023.
