Insp Sanjeev Yadav died of COVID-19

A recipient of Police medal and a bright officer Insp Sanjeev Kumar Yadav is the latest victim of COVID - 19.

He was admitted to Delhi's Max hospital where he took last breath. Yadav was the recipient of the gallantry award and was posted in Special Cell of Delhi Police.

A 31-year-old Delhi Police constable Amit Kumar was the first COVID -19 casualty, he died on May 5, this year.

India recorded an increase of 18,522 cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the total tally of Covid-19 cases to 5,66,840, with the number of fatalities inching closer to the 17,000 mark.
