Mock drill from December 27 to deal with Corona

Following the Centre's advice, a mock drill will be conducted on Tuesday (December 27) in hospitals of several States/Union Territories to ensure further preparedness to deal with any eventuality related to Corona. The exercise will focus on parameters such as the availability of health facilities (covering all districts), the capacity of isolation beds, oxygen-supported beds, ICU beds, ventilator-supported beds, and the optimal availability of doctors, nurses, paramedics, and AYUSH doctors. Information on other frontline workers including Asha and Anganwadi workers will also be taken.

Active cases increased in India

Corona has raised concerns in India as well. According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, active cases have increased to 3,428. At the same time, in the last 24 hours, 196 new cases of corona have been reported and two people have died.

Union Health Minister's meeting with Mandaviya
