In the past 24 hours, India has reported 19,893 new COVID instances

According to information provided by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the number of new COVID-19 infections in India increased on Thursday, with 19,893 cases being reported in the previous 24 hours.

India reported 17,135 cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.At a rate of 0.31 percent, India now has 1,36,478 active cases.According to the Ministry, there have been 5,26,530 deaths reported in COVID-19.

In the previous 24 hours, as many as 20,419 recoveries were reported. The overall count of Recovery rates from the Covid-19 infection are currently at 4,34,24,029, raising the nation's overall recovery rate up to 98.50%.The weekly positivity rate is 4.64 percent, and the daily positivity rate is 4.94 percent.

Up to this point in the countrywide vaccination campaign for COVID-19, 205.22 crore vaccine doses have been given.

According to the Ministry, 4,03,006 tests were carried out on the previous day alone, out of a total of 87.67 crore tests carried out in the nation to date.

Prime Minister ,Narendra Modi stated that the nation's struggle against COVID is ongoing and that holistic healthcare has made a difference in this fight against pandemic, all across the world.
