Low Visibility Affects Flights at Delhi’s IGI Airport

Fog conditions have also affected flight operations at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Friday.

The airport is experiencing dense fog, which has prompted flight operations to run under CAT III conditions. This system uses an advanced Instrument Landing System to allow landings in very low visibility, guiding aircraft safely even when runway visibility drops to 50–200 meters.
