PM Modi to Visit Udupi Today; City Gears Up for Grand Welcome

Udupi, Karnataka, is brimming with excitement as large crowds prepare to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. The Prime Minister will visit the historic Sri Krishna Math, where extensive arrangements have been made for the occasion.

Modi is scheduled to arrive at the Adi Udupi helipad, from where a 1.8-kilometre roadshow will begin. Three cultural stages have been set up along the route to greet him. At the Sri Krishna Math, the Prime Minister will participate in several religious rituals, including the Laksha Kantha Gita Parayana ceremony.

During his visit, he will inaugurate the Suvarna Teertha Mantapa and unveil the ‘Kanaka Kavacha’, the golden cover of the sacred Kanakana Kindi.

Later in the day, Modi will address a large public gathering. To ensure comprehensive security, more than 3,000 police personnel have been deployed, and a mock drill was conducted earlier today to assess preparedness.
