Travel from Delhi to Jaipur in 2 hours, a part of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be inaugurated

New Delhi: Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Wednesday that the Sohna-Dausa section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be inaugurated by the end of this month. With this, the travel time between Delhi and Jaipur will come down to about two hours. The Road Transport and Highways Minister said at a program here, "In this month you will reach Jaipur from Delhi in two hours." He did not give any further details about this. The distance between Delhi and Jaipur is approximately 270 km.

The Sohna (Haryana) - Dausa (Rajasthan) section is the first phase of the New Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be the longest expressway in India with a total length of about 1,390 km. After the full commissioning of this expressway, the distance from Delhi to Mumbai can be covered in 12 hours, which at present takes 24 hours.
