VP Radhakrishnan to unveil Mutharaiyar Stamp

Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan will release a commemorative postage stamp today in honour of Emperor Mutharaiyar II (Suvaran Maran).

The ceremony will be held at the Vice President’s residence. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will also be present on the occasion. Union Minister of State L. Murugan and Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, Harivansh, will also attend the event.

The commemorative programme is being organised to mark the contributions of Emperor Mutharaiyar II.
