Karnataka: BJP high command under pressure from Eshwarappa and Ramesh Jarkiholi, expansion of Bommai cabinet possible soon

The possibility of cabinet expansion has increased in Karnataka. Amid the growing resentment of Lingayat's with Yeddyurappa and Chief Minister Bommai, the BJP high command does not want to incur the displeasure of the OBC and ST classes. In such a situation, the BJP high command was seen bowing down under the pressure of senior leaders Eshwarappa and Ramesh Jarkiholi. He agreed to include both of them in the cabinet.

When Ramesh Jarkiholi's name came in a tape, he had to resign from the cabinet. Similarly, when a contractor committed suicide by accusing Eshwarappa of bribery, he too had to resign. Eshwarappa was the Panchayati Raj Minister, while Jarkiholi was the Small Scale Industries Minister. Both got a clean chit in the investigation. But if he did not return to the cabinet, he refused to attend the assembly session. Assembly elections are around the corner in Karnataka. In such a situation, despite not wanting to, the BJP central leadership had to take this decision.

BJP leader Eshwarappa said, "After seeing our protest and resentment, the local BJP leaders talked to the central leadership and they said that our resentment is right. These two should be included in the cabinet. Me and Ramesh Jarkiholi Such instructions have been given by the party high command.
