New Delhi: In view of the killing of civilians in the recent terrorist attacks in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, the Central Government...
New Delhi: In view of the killing of civilians in the recent terrorist attacks in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, the Central Government will send additional 18 companies (1800 soldiers) of CRPF. In Poonch and Rajouri districts, soldiers will be deployed. In Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district including Six people along with two minor cousins, were killed in two terrorist incidents.
After sending 10 companies of CRPF from Delhi, soon CRPF will be deployed from the nearest places of posting in Jammu and Kashmir along with their eight companies, the Ministry of Home Affairs amidst intelligence order issued by inputs about terrorist attack in Jammu region.
On Monday blast Two cousins were killed in an IED (explosive device). Monday evening open fired happened in the Rajouri district, which injured six people and four civilians were killed. Everyone was at their native place on Tuesday.
Six people died in terrorist attacks
Vihaan Sharma which is of four years old, Samiksha Sharma of 16 years old, forty-five years old Satish Sharma, 23- of Deepak, (57) Pritam Lal, and (32) Shishu Pal was killed in these attacks. Officials said that high security increased in the Rajouri city and nearby areas.
Protest against the killings
The Rs 10 lakh reward given to anyone who gives information about the terrorists involved in the attack, in the Kishtwar district a bandh was observed on Tuesday in protest against the attacks. The city roads and traffic were partially off, Shops and business too. Apart from this, in many parts of Jammu and Kashmir a protests against the killings have also taken place.
