ACP Krishnanagar Vinay Kumar Dwivedi told that a suicide note was found in the student's room. Apart from this, some prescriptions and medicines have also been found. The student was depressed for a long time. He was also undergoing treatment.
In fact, Mrinal, a first year MBBS student at TS Mishra Medical College in Sarojini Nagar, committed suicide by jumping from the 9th floor on Friday. When the girl students of the hostel came out after hearing the scream, they saw Mrinal's bloodied body lying on the ground. In the medical college itself, the team of doctors declared the student dead after seeing her. There was also a Farewell party in the college on Friday itself. The party was canceled after completing the formalities.
According to the police station, Chief Medical Superintendent Manik Kumar told Kaushal Kishore and Amarlata that they wanted to make their daughter Mrinal a doctor. Mrinal did not want to become a doctor. The effect of this was visible in her studies. Due to this, she was sent to Patna. She had been admitted to the college only four months ago. Told that she had come to college only three days back. Even after this, the student was under tension. Mrinal was originally a resident of Capital Coaching, NS Ashok Rajpath in Patna, Bihar.
The student had jumped from the balcony of the 9th floor
Mrinal, originally the daughter of coaching director Kaushal Kishore Singh, a resident of Rajpath, Patna, was doing MBBS while staying in the hostel of TS Mishra College. According to the Sarojini Nagar police, according to the girl students, Mrinal used to live in room number 902 with a student named Sakshi. She committed suicide by jumping from the balcony of the 9th floor at around 10 am on Friday.
On information, many police officers including DCP Rahul Raj, ADCP Manisha Singh, and ACP reached the spot. A chair was found kept on the balcony outside Mrinal's room and a suicide note was found. Mrinal's mother used to live near the hostel with a room on rent. After the incident, her father was also informed by the police.
