The UP BJP will highlight CM Adityanaths accomplishments following a successful first half of his second term

On September 25, Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, will have served six months of his second term as CM. The Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to emphasise his accomplishments.

The choice was made on Monday during a core committee meeting of the party attended by Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Maurya and Brijesh Pathak, State BJP President Bhupendra Chaudhary, and BJP Organization General Secretary Dharampal Singh at the residence of Chief Minister Adityanath.

Swatantra Dev Singh, a cabinet member and the departing president of the UP BJP, was also invited to the core committee meeting in addition to the CM and Deputy CMs.

The meeting also covered the general format of the events planned to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday from September 17 to October 2.

As part of its 16-day Seva Pakhwara (service fortnight) celebration of Prime Minister Modi's birthday, the BJP will hold district-level exhibitions on the leader and develop a strategy for promoting the book "Modi @20 Sapne Hue Sakaar."

The conference also covered the election strategy for the six nominated quota seats and the five graduate teacher seats that would be up for election in local body elections in November.
