UP News: Mock drill in all the hospitals today, preprations to deal with covid will be tested

A mock drill will be held in all medical institutes, medical colleges and district hospitals of Uttar Pradesh from 10 am on Tuesday. In this, the preparations made to deal with covid will be examined. For this, a nodal officer has been designated in the respective hospitals. The concerned nodal officer will hand over the report related to the flaws found in the mock drill to Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak. Where deficiencies are found, there will be a mock drill again throughout the week.

Instructions have been given to make concrete preparations regarding Covid in all the hospitals of the state. Wards have been reserved in hospitals. If covid patients increase, then the number of beds in the covid ward will also be increased. Similarly, arrangements have been made for the supply of oxygen, ventilators, arrangement of medicines, etc. from the plant to the beds in the ward. A mock drill will be done on Tuesday to check the veracity of the activation of these arrangements.

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that mock drill will give information about the shortcomings. The State Advisory Committee formed in the matter of covid has also called mock drill necessary in its report. The defects found in the mock drill will be rectified within a week. On the same basis, arrangements will be made in other hospitals as well. In the hospitals where deficiencies are found, there will be a mock drill again after a week. If the deficiencies remain for the second time also, the reasons for the same will be investigated. Action will also be taken against those responsible, due to which lapses are being missed again and again.
