UP: Three people died in Mainpuri after consuming hazardous tea

Three people, including two children, perished in a terrible incident in the village of Kanhai in Mainpuri after consuming poisoned tea, according to authorities.

Two family members perished immediately after drinking the mother's tea that she had brewed for her five children early one morning.The mother reportedly added pesticide to the drink.

Following the ingestion of the toxic tea, two additional family members were also hospitalised.

"Three people died today after drinking deadly tea in the Kanhai village, which is in the Aunchha police station's jurisdiction, and two others are seriously unwell and have been taken to Saifai.
