Though there are other shows made after the Vampire diaries such as The Originals and Legacies which are a spin off from The Vampire Diaries starring Joseph Morgan as Klaus Mikaelson in The Originals and Danielle Rose Russell as Hope Mikaelson who is seen as the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson in Legacies.
