The Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, arrived in India on Tuesday. He was accompanied by several ministers, senior government officials, and a high-level business delegation.
On the first day of the visit, Sheikh Hamdan met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and held talks with External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. This marks Sheikh Hamdan’s first official visit to India as the Crown Prince of Dubai.
The Crown Prince of Dubai, visited the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) in Mumbai today. He participated in the ceremonial ringing of the bell, a tradition at the BSE that symbolizes the start of a new chapter.
The visit is aimed at strengthening the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, with both sides working to enhance cooperation in areas such as trade, security, and innovation.
