Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Japanese Defence Minister Shinjiro Koizumi on Thursday.
Sharing pictures on X, the Prime Minister said that the conversation was held on strengthening defence and security ties between India and Japan.
He highlighted that the two countries’ Special Strategic and Global Partnership remains an important anchor for peace, stability and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific and beyond.
