The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has shared an article written by the Union Minister for Education, Shri Pralhad Joshi.

The Prime Minister noted that the Union Minister writes that India's continuing tradition of celebrating teachers reflects the deep respect accorded to those who impart knowledge. He added that the article highlights the teacher's vital role in guiding the learner from information towards understanding and from understanding towards wisdom, pointing out that the National Education Policy 2020 represents a significant step in this direction by placing the learner at the centre of education.
