Vice President and PM Modi pay tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his death anniversary today
Vice President C P Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have paid tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his death anniversary today. In a social media post, Mr Radhakrishnan described Swami Vivekananda as a great patriot, philosopher, and spiritual visionary. He said that Swami Vivekananda rekindled India’s civilisational consciousness and carried the timeless wisdom of the country to the world.
The Vice President said that Swami Vivekananda’s vision of a confident, enlightened, and compassionate India continues to guide the nation’s journey. He expressed hope that Swami Vivekananda’s ideals would inspire everyone to serve with dedication, uphold the highest standards of character, and remain steadfast in their commitment to nation-building.
The Prime Minister said that Swami Vivekananda’s contribution to bringing global recognition to India’s culture, spirituality, and national consciousness is unparalleled. Mr Modi said that Swami Vivekananda’s intellect and inspiring ideas continue to guide and motivate millions of young people. He added that Swami Vivekananda’s spiritual teachings will continue to provide the nation with renewed energy and direction in achieving the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
