Hybrid Cannabis Seized Again at Karipur Airport; Three Women Held with 34 Kg of Narcotics

In yet another drug bust at Karipur International Airport, customs officials seized 34 kilograms of hybrid cannabis and took three women into custody. The arrested individuals have been identified as Rabiya Saidu Sainudheen from Chennai, Kavitha Rajeshkumar from Coimbatore, and Simi Balakrishnan from Thrissur. In addition to the cannabis, officials also recovered approximately 15 kilograms of Thailand-manufactured drug-laced items, including chocolates, cakes, and cream biscuits. The seizure highlights the increasing use of unconventional methods for smuggling narcotics.
