Gujarat Paper Leak: Ruckus has started in Gujarat on paper leak. Candidates have started demonstrations in many cities including Godhra and Jamnagar. Junior Clerk recruitment examination of the Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board was to be held today (January 29), which was canceled. After the exam paper was leaked, it was decided to cancel this exam. 17 lakh candidates were going to appear in the examination for the recruitment of 3350 posts of Panchayat Junior Clerk. The exam was to be held from 11 am, but before that the news of a paper leak came and the exam was canceled.

According to the information, the police arrested a person with the paper late at night. After which the exam has been canceled. It is not yet clear when the re-examination will be held.

Explain that the Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSSB) had sought online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts of Junior Clerk. To apply for Gujarat Junior Clerk posts, the candidate must have passed 12th or its equivalent from a recognized board. Selection for these posts is to be done on the basis of a written examination.

Earlier, the General Knowledge paper for Grade 2 teacher recruitment was leaked in Rajasthan. About 13 lakh candidates had registered for this examination being conducted in 6 phases. The paper was to be held on December 24, but just before the paper started, the paper went viral on social media. About 2 lakh candidates reached the examination centers on this day. Soon after the news of the paper leak broke, the exam was stopped and an inquiry was ordered. This exam was conducted in Rajasthan after about five years.
