Nitesh Tiwari’s epic mythological drama Ramayana: Part 1 hit theaters worldwide today, November 5, 2026, opening to massive footfalls and record-breaking advance sales across major domestic and international circuits.

According to the box office tracking portal, the film entered its release day after collecting over ₹125 crore in global gross advance bookings. Morning shows across key metro regions—including Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi-NCR—reported high theater occupancy, particularly across premium 3D, IMAX, and 4DX screens.

Strong Opening Across Languages

The multi-lingual feature, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Kannada superstar Yash as Ravana, opened across Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam markets. Hindi screenings accounted for the bulk of early morning collections, followed by high momentum in Karnataka and Telangana.

Trade analysts project that the opening day gross could cross historic benchmarks nationwide as evening footfalls pick up during the festive period. Early international reports also indicate solid paid preview performance in North America and key European markets.

A High-Stakes Cinematic Endeavor

Jointly produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios and Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana: Part 1 marks one of the largest production scales in Indian cinema history.

Exhibitors across PVR INOX and national cinema chains have allocated substantial screen time for the feature, aiming to maximize festive holiday turnout over the extended opening weekend.
