Ramcharit Manas controversy: Muslim religious leaders also got angry with Swami Prasad Maurya

Lucknow: Displeasure is not stopping over SP leader Swami Prasad Maurya's controversial remarks on Shri Ramcharitmanas. Along with Hindu saints and political parties, now Muslim religious leaders have also condemned the statement of Swami Prasad and demanded to take back his words. Kashi Sumeru Peethadhishwar Jagadguru Swami Narendranand Saraswati and State BJP President Bhupendra Singh Chowdhary have demanded SP President Akhilesh Yadav clarify his stand.

Maulana Wasif Hasan, Mutavalli of Teela Wali Masjid, Lucknow, said that being true followers of Islam and Prophet Muhammad, we respect the Hindu religion and its scriptures. Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati said that if someone is taking away the sufferings of the victims with tantra, mantra, and yantra, then what is wrong with it? Anti-Sananat Dharma forces are unnecessarily creating controversies.

Also said that Swami Prasad's statement on Manas is an insult to Hindus. Such people should be sent to bars or jail. Shankaracharya Swami Sadanand Saraswati said that Tantra and Mantra have immense power. Acharya Dhirendra is using the same.
