External Affairs Minister Dr. S.Jaishankar Meets Bahrain King, Reaffirms Strong Ties

External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, who is in Bahrain as the second leg of his four-nation visit to the Gulf, met with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and discussed ways to further strengthen the bilateral partnership between the two countries. He also met Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and conveyed the greetings of President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The External Affairs Minister thanked him for ensuring the safety and well-being of the Indian diaspora in Bahrain and for his guidance in expanding the partnership between the two nations.

During his visit, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar interacted with members of the Indian community in Bahrain. They have made significant contributions to Bahraini society and have served as a living bridge between India and Bahrain.

After visiting the four Gulf countries, EAM Jaishankar will travel to New York on July 13 to launch India's official campaign for the UN Security Council tenure for 2028–29. He will then attend the 3rd India-EU Trade and Technology Council meeting in Brussels.
