Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today paid his tributes to Sri Aurobindo on the occasion of his birth anniversary. He stated that a towering philosopher, nationalist, poet, and thinker, Sri Aurobindo dedicated his life to India’s freedom as well as to the larger quest for human progress.
The Prime Minister noted that his works on various subjects continue to inspire generations across the world. Shri Modi observed that, very importantly, Sri Aurobindo's faith in the destiny of our nation and in the limitless possibilities of human transformation remains deeply relevant today.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister wrote:
