Vice-President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan today inaugurated the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’ by hoisting the National Flag at Flag Point, Sri Vijaya Puram, on the occasion of August Kranti Diwas, commemorating the Quit India Movement of 1942.
Hoisted the National Flag at Flag Point, Sri Vijaya Puram, today under the #HarGharTiranga Abhiyaan, a historic site where Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose hoisted the Tricolour on December 30, 1943, proclaiming the Andaman & Nicobar Islands free from British rule.
