More than 300 Congressmen in police custody in Lucknow: came on the road to protest against inflation


Congressmen protested fiercely in Lucknow on Monday. After taking out a procession from the party office, the Congressmen went towards the Raj Bhavan and on the way, there was a clash with the police. This protest was done regarding inflation, unemployment, and corruption along with the raids and lawsuits being conducted by the central agencies.

Congress State President Brijlal Khabri said, "If Adani is suffering losses, then it should not be compensated by increasing the price of cylinders by Rs 50 from the general public. This government has become a synonym for terror. What will happen to individuals, when a National Where are they pushing the party's state president by putting him in the car... I don't know."

Congressmen from all over the state gathered at the party office. Then took out a procession and went out to lay siege to the Raj Bhavan. On the way, the police stopped the Congressmen from moving forward by barricading at various places. During this, he had a fierce clash with the police. When the Congressmen started moving forward by breaking the barricades, the police had to lathi-charge them.

More than 300 leaders including Khabri in custody

More than 300 leaders-activists including Brijlal Khabri were taken into custody by the police. The police took the protesters to Eco Garden by seating them in more than 10 buses and police vans. In view of the protest, security arrangements have been tightened from the Congress state office to the Raj Bhavan. Barricading has been done at many places from the party office to the Raj Bhavan.

Khabri said – will expose the face of the government

During the protest, State President Brijlal Khabri said, inflation and unemployment are at their peak in the country. We are protesting on this issue. Will march to the Raj Bhavan and expose the face of the government. Congress provincial president Nakul Dubey said the policies of the government are being opposed. Congress leaders and workers have arrived from across the state to participate in the demonstration.
