India wins Gold in Men’s Air Rifle Team in Kazakhstan

India’s Rudrankksh Patil, Arjun Babuta, and Kiran Jadhav combined to win the gold medal in the 10-metre air rifle men’s team event at the Asian Shooting Championship in Kazakhstan.

The Indian trio accumulated a score of 1,892.5 points, with Patil leading the charge with 632.3 points in Shymkent.

China finished with the silver medal, ahead of bronze medallists South Korea.

This was India’s second senior gold medal at the championships, after Anantjeet Singh Naruka clinched the men’s skeet title.

India’s senior shooters have also bagged one silver and four bronze medals, taking the tally to seven.

Only China have won more medals.
