Big claim in actor Sushant Singh Rajput case

A former employee of Mumbai's government hospital, which conducted the post-mortem of actor Sushant Singh Rajput in June 2020, on Monday claimed that the actor did not commit suicide and his body bore injury marks. Roop Kumar Shah, who retired last month from Cooper Hospital, did not present any evidence to support his claims.

The case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death is once again in the news. Roop Kumar Shah, a staff at the Cooper Hospital where Sushant's postmortem took place, told a TV news channel that Sushant Singh Rajput's death does not appear to be suicide but murder. There were several marks on his body and two to three marks on his neck. This postmortem was required to be recorded, but the higher authorities complied, asking only for photographs of the body.'Shah, who worked as a mortuary assistant, told the news channel, "When I saw Rajput's body, there were injury marks and some marks around the neck due to some pressure. I was doing autopsies for about 28 years. The marks of strangulation and hanging are different.'
