Tu Jhoothi Me Makkar's earnings faded on the second day: Expected good collection on the weekend, earned 26 crores in two days
Actor Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's film 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar' has been released at the box office on 8 March. The film has so far collected a total of 26.07 crores. Where TJMM earned 15.73 crores on the first day and 10.34 crores on the second day. On the other hand, if the trade analyst is to be believed, then the collection of the film will increase in the coming weekend.
TJMM gets second biggest opening of 2023
According to the data shared by film critic Taran Adarsh, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar opened to 15.73 crores on Wednesday. With this, TJMM has become the second film to have the highest opening in 2023, while Pathan is at number one with a collection of around 55 crores.
TJMM's opening collection is more than Selfie's lifetime earnings
Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi's film Selfie could not perform well at the box office. On the other hand, Ranbir's Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar is getting good responses from the audience. While Selfie's lifetime collection stood at 11.40 crores, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar's opening itself was more than 15.73 crores. However, the film lags far behind Pathan.
Talking about the second-day collection, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar is on the second number. However, compared to the recent releases, Pathan is at the forefront of earnings.
The decline in second day collection may improve on weekend
On Thursday, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar earned around 10.34 crores. There was a decline of up to 35% on Thursday. According to the early figures of Friday, there is a slight decline in the collection on the third day, although the trade analyst believes that the film's earnings may increase in the coming week.
Talking about the star cast, apart from Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, Boney Kapoor has also made his acting debut in the film. Whereas Dimple Kapadia has also played an important role in TTMM.
