Jurors in Harvey Weinstein’s rape and sexual assault retrial began deliberations on Wednesday, after the judge instructed them to evaluate the credibility of three accusers.
The disgraced Hollywood producer is accused of raping aspiring actress Jessica Mann in 2013 and sexually assaulting two other women in 2006 and 2002. Weinstein, 72, has pleaded not guilty.
The defense argues the women were not truthful about their encounters with the former Miramax studio co-founder.
Weinstein went on trial in April. The jury is set to resume deliberations on Friday.
He is already serving a 16-year sentence for a 2022 rape conviction in California.
