PM Modi gives prospective ministers high tea before to the swearing-in ceremony.
In advance of the oathtaking ceremony later this tonight, newly elected members of parliament who are likely to be included in the new Cabinet and Council of Ministers of the Narendra Modi-led government were invited for high tea on Sunday afternoon at the Prime Minister's residence.
BJP heavyweights Sarbananda Sonowal and Nirmala Sitharaman were spotted making their way to Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi's home at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg in order to attend today's tea party.The leader of the Telangana BJP, Bandi Sanjay, and its president, G Kishan Reddy, arrived in the same vehicle.
RLD Chief Jayant Singh Chaudhary, along with BJP heavyweights Piyush Goyal, S. Jaishankar, and Dharmendra Pradhan, were also spotted making their way to the traditional high tea event.Prior to departing his home in the nation's capital, LJP (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan declared, "I am going to meet the PM."
Among those present at the tea gathering were BJP leaders Amit Shah, JP Nadda, Rajnath Singh, Kiren Rijiju, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Manohar Lal Khattar, and Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
