Continuing his power-packed schedule, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin Day 2 with the inauguration, foundation stone laying, and dedication of multiple development projects worth over ₹48,520 crore in Karakat, Bihar.
These projects are expected to boost industrial growth, create job opportunities, and provide affordable electricity in the region.
In a major push to road infrastructure and connectivity, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for various road projects, in line with his commitment to improving rail infrastructure across the country.
On the first day of his visit to Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the newly constructed passenger terminal at Patna Airport. The terminal, built at a cost of around ₹1,200 crore, has the capacity to handle one crore passengers annually.
The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for the new civil enclave at Bihta Airport, which will cost over ₹1,410 crore. Bihta, located near Patna, is rapidly emerging as an educational hub, home to institutions like IIT Patna and the proposed NIT Patna campus.
Following this, the Prime Minister held a roadshow from the airport to the Income Tax Golambar in Patna. A large crowd gathered along the route, eager to catch a glimpse of him. As his convoy passed through Bailey Road, people welcomed him by showering flowers.
