Foreign Minister S Jaishankar said that we are not afraid of China. If they were afraid, they would not have deployed the army on the border. Congress should honestly see what happened in 1962. The area near Pangong Lake in Ladakh has been under illegal occupation by China since 1962.
In an interview with news agency ANI, Jaishankar also questioned the foreign media questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Congress party, the controversial BBC documentary, and the timing of the statements of American businessman George Soros. He also talked about the current economic condition of Pakistan and its impact on India.
Jaishankar said- listen carefully, I am taking the name of CHINA
Answering the questions of Rahul Gandhi and Congress on the issue of China, he said – We are accused that we are afraid of China, we do not even take its name. Let me tell you that we are not afraid of China. If we are afraid, then who sent the Indian Army to the China border? This army was not sent by Rahul Gandhi, it was sent by Narendra Modi.
If Rahul knows more than I about China, I am ready to listen to him
Jaishankar said that Congress alleges that we are lenient towards China, but this is not true. We are deploying the army on the China border at a huge expense and with great effort. Under this government, we have increased our expenditure on setting up infrastructure on the border over 5 times. Now tell me, would it be called being liberal towards China or coming in the role of a rescue? You see who is telling the truth, showing things as they are, and who is playing with history.
When asked about Rahul Gandhi's statement that S Jaishankar does not know much about foreign policy and needs to learn a few things, Jaishankar said that if Rahul had better knowledge of China, And if there is intelligence then they are ready to listen to him.
We have nothing to do with what is happening in Pakistan
He was asked if Pakistan's economic condition has worsened, and what effect it can have on India. He replied that the future of Pakistan would be decided by its own actions and choices. No one reaches such a situation just by accident. It's their job to know. At present, our relationship with Pakistan is such that we have nothing to do with what is happening with it.
