India will aim to maintain their dominance and complete a 5-0 series whitewash against Sri Lanka in the fifth and final women’s T20 International on Tuesday.

India has been clinical throughout the series, consistently restricting Sri Lanka to totals below 130 and chasing down targets with at least five overs to spare and seven wickets in hand. Sri Lanka has struggled to contain the opening pair 

The five-match series has been an important part of India’s preparation for the T20 World Cup, scheduled to be held in England in June-July next year. India’s shift towards a more aggressive style of play has paid dividends, resulting in two series wins this year. After Tuesday’s match, India will play three T20 Internationals each in Australia and England ahead of the marquee tournament.
