PKL 10: Arjun Deshwal scores 20 points as Jaipur Pink Panthers beat UP Warriors

 Here on Monday, thanks to the brilliant performance of raider Arjun Deshwal, Jaipur Pink Panthers made it to the semi-finals of Season 10 of Pro Kabaddi League with a 67-30 win over UP Yoddhas. Deshwal top-scored with 20 raid points and defenders Sunil Kumar and Ankush contributed with high 5s.

Mahipal scored some raid points in the fourth minute and Yoddha went ahead 3-2. Sumit faced V. Ajith Kumar and reduced the Panthers to just two men on the mat. However, Abhishek KS made a super tackle on Gagana Gowda, due to which Jaipur team leveled the score at 7-7 in the 8th minute. Shortly afterwards, the Panthers tackled Mahipal and went ahead 9-8 in the 10th minute.

Ankush tackled Gowda and Ajit hit a raid, giving the Panthers a narrow lead of 13-10 in the 15th minute. Arjun Deshwal made a brilliant raid and reduced UP Warriors to just one man on the mat. The Panthers kept the momentum going and went all-out to take the lead for good at 18-11. Deshwal continued his excellent form and Jaipur were ahead 23-11 at the break.

Jaipur Pink Panthers went all-out in the opening minutes of the second half and extended their lead to 27-12. Ashu Singh got a tackle point and Gagana Gowda got Ankush out of the raid, but in the 25th minute the Panthers were leading 28-15.

Amirhossein Mohammed Maleki and Arjun Deshwal picked up raid points and the Panthers completely dominated the game with another all-out, 37-15. The Jaipur team continued to put pressure on their opponents throughout the rest of the game and eventually won comprehensively.
