Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in India this morning after successfully concluding his five-nation visit to Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil, and Namibia.
In the first leg of his visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Ghana from July 2–3. This was the Prime Minister’s first-ever bilateral visit to Ghana. A Prime Ministerial visit from India to Ghana took place after three decades.
In the second leg of his visit, the Prime Minister visited Trinidad and Tobago from July 3–4. This was his first visit to the country as Prime Minister, and the first bilateral visit at the Prime Ministerial level to Trinidad and Tobago since 1999.
In the third leg of his visit, the Prime Minister travelled to Argentina from July 4–5. He held bilateral talks with President Milei and discussed ways to further enhance the India–Argentina partnership in key areas.
In the fourth leg of his visit, the Prime Minister visited Brazil from July 5–8, 2025, where he attended the 17th BRICS Summit 2025 in Rio de Janeiro. The visit to Rio de Janeiro was followed by a State Visit to Brazil’s capital, Brasília, where he held bilateral discussions with President Lula.
In the final leg of his visit, the Prime Minister visited Namibia on July 9, 2025. This was his first visit to Namibia, and the third-ever Prime Ministerial visit from India to the country.
