PM Modi arrives in the area to dedicate the second terminal at Bengaluru Airport and unveil the statue of Kempegowda

The 108-foot bronze monument of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda was unveiled and Terminal 2 of Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport was opened as Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited there on Friday.

Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Minister Pralhad Joshi, as well as other dignitaries and authorities, greeted PM Modi.

The Prime Minister will present floral tributes to the statues of Maharshi Valmiki and the saint poet Sri Kanaka Dasa at Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru, according to the PMO.

He will flag off the Vande Bharat Express and the Bharat Gaurav Kashi Darshan Train at Bengaluru's KSR railway station at at 10:20 am.

PM Modi will open Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International Airport at roughly 11:30 a.m. He would next unveil the 108-foot bronze monument of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda at around midday, followed by a public event in Bengaluru at around 12:30 am. PM Modi will attend the 36th Gandhigram Rural Institute Convocation ceremony in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, at roughly 3:30 pm.

On November 12, at around 10:30 am, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple projects at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. At around 3:30 pm, he will visit the RFCL plant in Ramagundam, Telangana. Thereafter, at around 4:15 pm, Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple projects  at Ramagundam.
