R Hari Kumar: Navy Chief said- India wants prosperity of every country, said this on Ukraine war in Raisina Dialogue

Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar has said that whenever a technology comes, it is also countered. He said that we saw during the war in Ukraine that whenever new technology came into the war, it was also answered. He said that challenges in the maritime domain are not conventional or non-conventional. Any problem is a problem for everyone.

The Navy Chief said that in the maritime domain, we work together in a cooperative spirit. He said that when we work in small groups, it serves a purpose. This also increases the trust between the allied countries. The Navy Chief has said that India is such a country and wants to promote the prosperity of all the countries in the region. Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar was addressing the Raisina Dialogue 2023 on Saturday.

Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar said that China has had a presence in the Indian Ocean since 2008. They have had an anti-piracy force since 2008 till date. Chinese fishing boats and Chinese fishing vessels are also there, and they operate peacefully. We monitor their work.

India acts as a bridge between Global North and South: Meenakshi Lekhi

Addressing the Raisina Dialogue, Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi advocated multilateralism. He said India will work towards reforming multilateralism. It is a better method of resolving conflicts and preventing them from happening in the interest of maintaining social order. He said, “India has taken it upon itself to be the voice of the voiceless, and reform multilateralism has to move forward as it has failed to address key issues in its present form. and the Global South, but India has generally been positioned to act as a bridge between the two. Integral humanism is central to India's values. Whenever a conflict erupts in any part of the world, so it affects a person far and wide.
