Raju Srivastav, a comedian, passes away after more than a month on a ventilator
Raju Srivastava, a comedian, passed away on Wednesday in Delhi at the age of 58, according to his family. On August 10, after collapsing during a workout at the gym due to chest trouble, Srivastava was admitted to AIIMS Delhi. The same day, he had an angioplasty.
Since the late 1980s, Srivastava has been employed in the entertainment business. In 2005, he won notoriety for his performance on the first season of the stand-up comedy programme "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge."
He has appeared in movies like "Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon," "Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya," and "Maine Pyar Kiya," among others.
