The first covid nasal vaccine made in India will be launched on 26 January

New Delhi: Everyone has become aware of the devastation caused by Corona in the whole world. In such a situation, the vaccine is considered to be the most important weapon against Corona. Now Bharat Biotech will start giving the first intranasal Kovid-19 vaccine 'Incovac' developed in the country to the people from 26 January. Company's Chairman and Managing Director Krishna Illa gave this information on Saturday.

Interacting with the students at the India International Science Festival (IISF) organized in Bhopal, Illa said that the indigenously developed vaccine Lumpy Provakind will be launched next month to protect cattle from lumpy skin disease. Participated in IISF's "Face to Face with New Frontiers in Science" organized at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT).

Giving information about this program, Krishna Illa said, "Our nasal vaccine (vaccine given through the nose) will be officially launched on Republic Day on January 26." Bharat Biotech announced in December last year that It will sell the intranasal vaccine to the government at Rs 325 per dose, while for private vaccination centers, it will cost Rs 800 per dose.
