First International Faculty Development Programme (IFDP) was successfully conducted at KMC Language University
Lucknow, September 13, 2025 — First International Faculty Development Programme (IFDP) was successfully conducted at Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University.
Under the esteemed guidance of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ajay Taneja, the programme was convened and coordinated in online mode by Ms. Afreen Fatima, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce. The central theme of the six-day FDP, held from 8th to 13th September, was “Innovative Pedagogies in All Subjects: Bridging Academia with Industry Practices.” Nearly 50 participants from diverse backgrounds actively engaged in the sessions.
The technical team comprising Mr. Mohd. Huda and Mr. Syed Tauseef Ahmed played an instrumental role in ensuring the smooth execution of the programme.
Key sessions included:
“Stress Management in Higher Education” by Ms. Afreen Fatima.
“Use of AI in Curriculum Development” by Prof. Sanjay Medhavi.
“Integration of Law, Commerce, and Management” by Prof. Kuntirani Padhan, who clarified the distinction between interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches.
Practical case study-based methods to bridge academia and industry by Ms. Apoorva Sharma.
Hands-on training on the use of Consensus AI in research and Gamma AI in presentations by Ms. Afreen Fatima.
The valedictory session featured the Chief Guest, Prof. Raj Agnihotri, Professor at Iowa State University, USA, who offered thought-provoking insights on the future of Artificial Intelligence. He emphasized that in the emerging “feeling economy,” reading, writing, and communication will remain essential survival skills.
Participants responded with overwhelmingly positive feedback, marking the programme as a resounding success.
